I repaired my first car
I bought my first car in 1956. It was 28 years old when I bought it, did not run and had three flat tires. I knew almost nothing about car repair but wanted a car. I decided to try the auto repair yourself route and after three months of trial and error I had a car that would run. I also had a fairly good education in auto repair. At fifteen I had bought a car, got it into a running condition and for by far the best thing was that I had the self confidence that I could do almost anything.
