Fribiz is positioning itself as a platform for companies to launch new products and promote their brands. Fribiz gets paid to give away free items, the companies get promote their new products and the users get free prizes. Apple pays Fribiz a certain amount of money and gives them 20 iPods. Fribiz members can use the points (called fribiz) they collect doing various activities on the site to bid on the iPods in a free auction format.
