My Buddy Fell From A Ladder At Work Today
Bad day on the job. My best friend fell from a ladder that was 15 feet in the air. We recently had fall protection training and one of the things they showed us was how to secure our ladders to something stable when working at heights. Particularly when working above the 7 foot area it becomes all the more important. Unfortunately he did not heed the training lesson and did nothing to secure his ladder in case of a fall. And guess what happened? The ladder slipped, he fell to the ground below, and his life will forever be changed. Very sad day indeed.
