The true importance of backlinks
For many website authors the term link back is not alien but in fact is a staple in their over all plan to get traffic to the site. Backlinks are essentially the way Google knows if your site is popular or not. If people link back to your page from an authority site, then Google sees your site as a product that will make their customers happy. To Google their customers are anyone whom uses their search engine to find the information they need. Their is more to making Google happy however than just backlinks but once all the rest are done the back link placements are the most important thing to pay attention to. It’s the one thing that continues to need updating and maintenance.
