What Does a Patent Attorney Do?
I am trying to figure out whether or not I really need to hire an attorney. What exactly does a patent attorney do, and could I do all of this for myself? Or would it really be best to hire a professional? I have always been a kind of do it yourself type person, but I am willing to defer to someone who knows how to do things better when it is necessary. The trouble is figuring out which situations this applies to. I can’t afford to spend a lot of money, so I would need to find someone that didn’t charge a lot for their services.
