It is commonly known that most lawyers in large law firms have burgeoning case loads and in some of these firms, associate lawyers are having to do work on legal matters that generally require a senior partner’s attention; while the legal secretaries are asked to complete assignments associate lawyers are more qualified to take on. However, if you look at smaller firms, the lawyers are generally responsible for much smaller and more realistic workloads when compared to their larger counterparts.
