Many people fear hypnosis and still have many misconceptions in regards to the practice, however there’s nothing strange about hypnosis.In reality hypnosis has been proven to be effective in lots of treatments including panic attacks, self improvement and kicking bad habits.By putting you into a ‘trance’ like state, a hypnotherapist can enter your subconscious mind and teach you to think differently about things. For instance if you get nervous speaking in front of large groups of people then instant self hypnosis can train your mind that in these situations you are relaxed and at ease. For those who have a fear of water or trains for instance then your therapist may take your mind back to see if this fear stems from an event in your past and if so put that fear to bed.Also an effective method to give up smoking and quit other bad habits, hypnosis should not be as misunderstood as it is.
