Meat: It’s What’s for Dinner
Any body-builder knows that protein is very important to building muscle. Exercise break muscle tissue down, so material is needed to build muscle back up. However, I have found that not all protein is the same in its effect. As a vegetarian, I was having a difficult time bulking up. My protein came from whey powders and I took a lot of creatine to go with it. Then I added meat back to my diet and the results were amazing. I was bulking up much faster. It also helped that I ate almost immediately after an exerting workout. This ensured that my muscles were not being broken down, with nothing to build.
