Breast Augmentation and Breastfeeding
Who says a woman can never breastfeed after having breast implants? If you’re having breast augmentation in New York, a very experienced New York breast surgeon will tell you that this is simply not true. There are different incision types that can be performed for a breast enlargement procedure. One of them, the axillary type, is the ideal incision type for women who wish to be able to breastfeed in the future. This incision type is made through the armpit, hence not damaging the glandular tissue, blood supply and nerves. Since the axillary type does not disrupt the breast tissue, milk supply or flow is also not disrupted.
