Core Conditiong Isn’t Another Fitness Gimmich

The fitness world has seen its share of fads, that’s for sure. So one could certainly not be blamed for thinking all the hoopla about core conditioning was just another one. However, strengthening the body’s core (the area from the shoulders to the groin) really does have application to our lives, as the muscles of the core are involved in just about every activity from brushing our teeth to competing in a triathlon. And since our sedentary lifestyles tend to allow the core area to become weaker, providing exercises that strengthen this area can only pay off in improved strength and less fatigue in our daily lives.
