Discussions around the office water cooler
Having a conversation with a fellow employee at the office water cooler has become somewhat of a cliche, but still holds true in today’s offices. Most employers place the water cooler in a central location of an office – in a break room or common hallway. This allows employees to talk to each other while getting water from the water cooler.
Often, water cooler conversation is between employees from different areas of the office who usually do not come in contact, and much like the water cooler is depicted in movies, often gossip, crude jokes or funny stories are told between co-workers.
