Many schools offer two types of nursing degrees. One is the associates degree in nursing. The other is the bachelors in nursing. Both lead to an RN position, but the bachelors degree with get you a higher salaried position. Many schools offer the RN to BSN program. It is an opportunity for nurses with associates degrees to turn them into bachelors degrees. The programs are usually completed online, so you don’t have to spend a lot of time traveling to college campuses. Many employers will pay your tuition to attend school too.
