Why Cook Food

It seems everyone today is worried about their fat intake.  Whether it is trans fats or saturated fat that you are worried about you can avoid them both with the eating of uncooked foods.   They contain neither.  They are also low in sodium which all of our diets can stand less of.   Cooking destroys the fiber in our foods so if we eat raw food we no longer have to take fiber supplements or at least can cut back on them.   The improved taste is enough to justify going raw.  Then when you consider the increased health benefits it is a wonder anyone cooks anymore.
