The Ins and Outs of Radiant Barrier Installation
The simplest and perhaps the easiest way to add a radiant barrier to your attic is to place it over existing insulation, such as foam insulation. That is probably the best installation advice I can give you. You can do this yourself or you can hire a professional to do it. The job is not terribly tough, but it will take time. You will want to allow yourself plenty of time to get the job done before old man winter sets in. The Fall is a great time of year to tackle this project because your attic will be cooler.
