Real Estate Predictions for 2010
Forsalebyowner.com announced recently its predictions for the 2010 real estate market. They forecasted the following trends for the American real estate market: volumes of homes available for sale should increase by 1 o2 2%; distressed properties will continue to put pressure on homes prices; more buyers than ever will first see their future home on the Internet as opposed to receiving the listing from their realtor; about 90% of buyers will use the Internet to search for properties and real estate information; real estate commissions will rise to an average of 6%, up from 5.2% in 2009; more sellers will use try to sell their homes themselves than ever before.
