Setting A Wedding Budget Is The First Step To A Memorable Wedding

Perhaps the first thing that must be done when you are ready to start planning your wedding is to create your wedding budget. Your budget is important because it is almost impossible to know what you can afford for each variable of your wedding if you don’t give yourself some boundaries to your overall spending limits. Creating the budget will probably be the hardest part of the planning process because you’ll want to have the nicest and most memorable wedding that you can afford.

The era when the parents of the bride paid for the wedding are practically history. Often parents will contribute to the wedding expenses as a gift to the couple, but, these days, it is rather rare for parents to cover the entire cost of the wedding.

Usually, the parents simply can’t afford the additional expense. Couples today often prefer to cover their own weddings expenses because it ensures that they can plan the details the way that they want to without interference.
