Should You Buy a Toddler Bed?
When my daughter figured out how to climb out of her crib, I was torn over what to do. I like having her contained in the crib for naps and bed time so she couldn’t wander around, so I thought about buying a crib tent to keep her inside the crib. However, she was 2 1/2 so she was getting too big for the crib anyways. Then I considered getting her a toddler bed, but in the end I agreed with my friend – toddler beds aren’t really a necessary piece of furniture. By the time kids are big enough not to be in their crib, they are almost too big for a toddler bed, so it is a waste. I just got a twin bed and rails to keep her from falling out.
