Has the Internet Created a Whole New Social World?
Years ago the rules for socializing were pretty well defined and a lot of people loved it that way. These are the people who now complain about online chatting, dating sites, and even gaming. Personally, I think we have come a long way. The rules we had to live by in my youth were rigid and meant that most of us got to know about a dozen people really well. Eventually most of us married one of them. I think the Internet has created a big, limitless social world and the possibilities it provides are stunning. You can have the good old days.
