Model Railroad Hobby
Model railroading is a great hobby for young and old alike. Practically no other hobby can combine skills such as model building, carpentry, design, city planning, and electricity like model railroading can. A decent model railroad layout can be set up in a corner of an apartment, or take up a whole basement in the case of an empire. Many cities have Model Railroads and Railroading clubs that get together to share experiences and expertise. This is a great way to get into the hobby if you are interested and are just starting out. The members of these model railroad clubs can point you in the right direction as far as where to shop, how to build, and other tips.
