Safety Between Pat Testing Company Visits
Although regular testing is carried out on business premises all staff should be made aware that electrical appliances can easily be damaged or become worn between the dates that inspections are carried out by the pat testing company. If the user of an electrical appliance feels that the equipment is unsafe or damaged in any way than that item of equipment must immediately be disconnected from the mains supply and removed from service. The business owner must then arrange to have the appliance tested or repaired or, in cases where the damage is both obvious and extreme, than the item must be disposed of. All this activity must be recorded and made available the next time the pat testers visit the company.
