One of many devastating issues of all forms of diabetes is the loss of a leg due to difficulties from the diabetic foot. Since the all forms of diabetes has effects on the actual nerves, any kind of injury to the feet are tough to feel since it is not likely experienced, consequently may get worse and be severe before it is recognised it is present. The poor circulation in adult onset diabetes also means that it does not heal well.
