Different Value System : One Of The Causes of Divorce

One of the many causes of divorce is conflict of values. It has not only unleashed the war of civilizations, evident in the current geopolitical scenario, but has its impact on the very intricacies of microcosmic social norms. The aggravating conflict of values and intolerance have infiltrated the domain of interpersonal relationships. The current global model of development motivated by Western success will have two possible outcomes. Either it may dull the individual mind to habitually adhere to the popular, consensual value system or it may awaken him to the possibilities of personal and social evolution. Couples who happen to belong to these two extremes will be more prone to conflicts, unless a balance is achieved by integrating the salubrious effects of both the possibilities.
