Emergency Preparation Ward Groups
My husband was the emergency preparation specialist for a while in our ward and I helped him split up the ward into groups. We weren’t really sure about some of the members who seemed to be exmormon. exmormon or not, wouldn’t they like help in an emergency? We weren’t sure if they even desired no contact or not, but we had never met them. The new specialist has taken the same approach – splitting everyone into groups instead of having home teachers checking on their family way across town. It makes more sense to check on those who are near you.
