Ivy Leaguer: “Probate, Now I know what it means”.
My grandfather passed away in February and pops collected everything from fishing lures the coke bottles. My Mom was named in pops will as the executor (to be the person who probates his estate).
My Mom was in a panic and asked me to help. I have gone thru a top Ivy league business school so she thought I knew all about how to be an executor. The fact is, I never heard of it.
Thankfully, I looked up the phrase: estate settlement on a Google search and the first site I found was www.EstateSettlement.com
The site had everything my Mom needed to start the estate settlement process. She even found a local attorney through the site, which put her mind at ease.
