Getting the Perfect Crestron Installation

Getting a perfect Crestron installation would appear to be harder than it should be! As Crestron Premiere dealers we are called out to update many peoples installations which aren’t working as they should.

There are some things you can do to ensure your Crestron installation goes as it should:

Look at case studies – it goes without saying that if you can visit an existing installation you can see how it works and if everything is as it should be. Ask Crestron – As the manufacturer Crestron themselves will have a good idea how many projects a company has undertaken and the quality of their work. They have probably even visited a number of projects which may not be available for viewing Look at Touchpanel examples – Your interaction with your system is going to be through a touchpanel of some description. Ask to see examples of Crestron interfaces the company have developed. Do you like the look and do they make sense? Do the Installers do their own programming? This is slightly contraversial (especially when you consider we program on behalf of other dealers!) but if someone sells you a system and then gets a third party in to program you probably aren’t getting the best possible system. The salesman is not going to know the nuances of how your system will hang together and there might be an element of ‘just make it work’.

If you follow this advice then you stand a much better chance of getting a good system which will give you pleasure for years to come.
