Plastic Safekeeping
Before we left on vacation last month, I agonized over where to put my valuable jewelry. We do not have a safe or a really great hiding place in our home. I had gone to the hardware store to get some paint samples and on my way to the paint department I walked past the plastic components in plumbing. Suddenly it hit me! I could buy some of this pipe, and hide my valuables inside it! I chose some large sized pipes and some other connecting bits and when I got home, I put my jewelry in a soft cloth, rolled up and hidden in the pipe. I put the pipes in the pile of construction parts my husband had in the garage, and nobody would ever think to look there for my jewelry!
