Voice Encoded Doors at School?
The other day, I was talking with my neighbor about the security at out local high school. We both have sons that attend the school, and with the school shootings that have happened all around the country, we were understandably concerned about our children’s safety. Marge was telling me that the school board is proposing a new type of computer security at the school using VR technology. VR or voice recognition uses IVR software to make areas of the school lock down by simply telling the room what to do. It can be customized so the principal or a security guard can use a cell phone to lock down specific areas. I really hope the school board decides to use this technology, because our children’s safety is paramount to all of us.
