Why is the iPod so popular?
The iPod was the first major handheld music player on the market, it pretty much created the market for music playing devices so it has the advantage there. But why is it so popular still? One word, marketing. Look on all the iPod Blog forums and you’ll find plenty of iPod users with lots of problems. But why do these users still come to the iPod? Because they think the Apple brand is cool, so all of their products must be cool. And if you bought an iPod without doing any research or homework on the product itself, then it looks like you also fell for the Apple marketing machine.
