The end of the day was the best part
It was such a relief to finally get to our tongariro accommodation as we had been on the road for hours on end to get there. As much as we love living up north for the summer and the great beaches, it doesn’t make it easy to get to the snow in the winter months. Anyway we eventually got there and it was just in time to have something to eat and then jump in to the spa pool to relax a bit. After that we headed inside for a glass of wine in front of the nice big open fire and had a great time chatting with some of the other guests who were staying at the lodge.
