Covering Foreign Health Issues
We are planning a trip to Africa soon and want to be prepared in all aspects for he journey. I checked with the people that handle my health insurance at home about coverage in Africa. They will provide some coverage but hospitalization must be pre approved. I do not want to have to wait for that approval so am going ahead and buying travel health insurance just to cover my trip. They will cover everything including some dental work if it is of an emergency nature. For the coverage received the premiums are not that much and well worth it for the peace of mind the deliver.
